Directly adjacent to the JBHS Auditorium is the JBHS Quad, where students and spectators can relax between performances and local vendors serve breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the day.

Established in 1948 and named for 19th and 20th century essayist and naturalist John Burroughs, the
seven-building campus was completely remodeled in 2002. Student enrollment is approximately
2600. Mr. Kenneth Knoop is principal.
Notable alumni include Debbie Reynolds, Ron Howard and Rene Russo.
John Burroughs High School has been the setting for numerous film and television productions including The
Wonder Years and Glee.
